The Whistler 28" 3-Burner Elite Built-In Gas Grill is the way into the Elite Series, with 494 square inches of cooking area and 57,000 BTUs in a footprint that suits smaller islands. It is built from 304 stainless steel with a fully welded firebox and a double-lined hood, the same construction found across the Elite line.

Three cast stainless steel burners and a ceramic infrared rear burner give you even heat across the grid, and the rear burner drives the included rotisserie kit. Blue LED lighting over the knobs and two interior halogen lights keep the grill easy to read and easy to use after sunset.

It ships with a rotisserie kit and cover, is available in Propane or Natural Gas, and carries a limited lifetime warranty on the burners, grates and housing. For a compact island that still needs serious cooking power, this is the one to build around.
